What We Believe

The Scriptures & God

The Old and New Testament are the inerrant and infallible Word of God. All Scripture is inspired by God, used for His glory and to edify man. (Psalm 19:7-11; John 17:17; II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:19-21)

There is one God who exists in three eternal persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 5; Matthew 28:19, 20; John 10:30)

God created a perfect world in six literal days and rested on the seventh. He created man and woman in His likeness, with specific gender roles for His plan. (Genesis 1-2; 3:1-19; Exodus 20:11)

The fall of man through the temptation of Satan created a separation from God. Each human is born with the sinful nature from Adam and is reconciled only through belief in Christ. (Genesis 3:1-7; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:9-19, 23; 8:5-8; II Thessalonians 1:7-9)

Salvation & Christian Living

Rooted in Truth

Jesus is God’s only Son, who came from heaven to be born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus is 100% man and 100% God. He lived a sinless life to fulfill the Old Testament Law, performed miracles, and set an example of how to live a life that glorifies God. He came to be our propitiation on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again three days later. He ascended into heaven and will return to judge the living and the dead. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14; I John 2:2, 3:5; Luke 18:33)

Salvation comes from Jesus Christ alone, not by any works man does. Salvation redeems the sinner and is offered freely to those who pursue faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is part of the triune Godhead and dwells in believers to direct and convict them. (John 3:16, 20:31; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:16-18)

Man’s chief goal is to glorify God in word and deed. Marriage is a sacred entity between a biological male and a biological female, a representation of Christ and His church. The sanctity of life acknowledges the inherent value and dignity of every human being, from conception to natural death. (I Corinthians 10:31; Genesis 2:24; Psalm 139:13-14)
